Food Boxing
The food boxes are filled with nutritious foods, including fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, bread and other products. If you would like to partner with us and build our love boxes please email us through the contact portion of our website. If you would like to schedule a small group or a team to come in and build love boxes please note that in your email.
Food Distribution
Each Saturday volunteers meet at our warehouse to help load and distribute food boxes to families in our local communities. The food boxes are filled with nutritious food, including fresh produce and fruit. We partner with the local churches in the area. Rather than having our families come to us, we go to them door-to-door. This gives us the opportunity to develop relationships and truly learn about their concerns and needs. This also allows us to pray with and for them. Currently we are serving from 600 to 1,200 families a month; that is 3,000 to 5,000 people.
The Refuge
On Wednesday evenings, volunteers gather at Miles Park. There are several churches involved and come together to provide worship, present a gospel message, and provide food for our street people who stay in the park. A clothing exchange is available and hygiene kits are given out. Tuesday through Friday a men's Bible Study is offered and there are plans to start a women's Bible Study.
Discipleship
Through the relationships built in several mobile parks in Thermal, home Bible study groups have started. It has been slow, almost a year, as people begin to trust us enough to open their homes, but the Holy Spirit has prevailed and lives are being changed.
